This is a menu design for Pressed Juicery, a California-based juice brand, aimed to combine photography, typography, and grid stuctures in to a cohesive visual system using Adobe InDesign.
︎In the Mood for Love Cocktail Menu
This cocktail menu design is inspired by the film In the Mood for Love. The cocktail names draw from moments and themes in the movie, such as "Room 2046," named after the room where Chow Mo-wan (Tony Leung) and Su Li-zhen (Maggie Cheung) meet to write a novel, using their own experiences with love and betrayal as inspiration. "Secret in the Tree Hollow" references the moment at the end of the film, when Chow confesses his deepest feelings into a tree hollow, leaving his unspoken love in silence.
The background design features Chow and Su separated by a wall, symbolizing the emotional distance and complexities of their relationship. A subtle light flare enhances the nostalgic, melancholic tone of the film.
