︎Visualizing Taste

The zine "Visualizing Taste" conveys a sensory experience. It documents an event I hosted, a 20-minute happening. The happening encouraged participants to try popular East Asian food/snacks, including century eggs, salted duck eggs, xian bei (soy sauce crackers), and chocolate puffs. The participants then express their creativity by visually capturing the taste, texture, and smell through drawings (see photos below). Finally, I compiled and designed their visualizations into this 8-page zine.
